Fifth annual Sunflower Festival opens at Foreman Farm
PRINCE GEORGE – The sunflower fields have returned near Prince George, and organizers hope families will come out to enjoy one more summer outing.
The fifth annual Prince George Sunflower Festival starts today at Foreman Farm, just 15 minutes from downtown. The festival is open on select days until September 6.
Visitors can stroll through the sunflower fields, take photos, meet farm animals, and join in family activities. Organizers say the festival is meant to give families and friends a chance to relax and make lasting memories.
Doug Bell, operating partner and developer for Northern Lights, says the festival began with a simple idea and a piece of land.
