PRINCE GEORGE – One local business is hoping to get others on board for a program run by the United Way.

The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory stepped and answered the challenge. It provides feminine products for its female employees and is challenging other companies to follow suit.

“For us as a small business, we want to treat it as an expenditure just as we would toilet paper and paper towels,” says Trent Derrick, Owner of the Chocolate Factory.

Derrick says the financial obligation is a dollar-fifty per month, per employee. And now he is throwing out the challenge to other businesses.
