PRINCE GEORGE—It was a simple act of kindness, but it made a world of a difference for one Prince George mom and her son. An unknown good samaritan’s actions has quickly inspired thousands online.

Caroline Parker and her son Kyle are always looking for a new adventure. However, toys are the real key to Kyle’s heart.

“If your community has heart, that’s where you’re going to be happy in life.” said Caroline.

But it was the kindness out of a stranger’s heart that impacted thousands after Caroline’s viral Facebook post.

“It just really touched so many people.” said Caroline.

Kyle has autism and is non-verbal. He uses an iPad and knows some sign language to communicate.

Some days aren’t easy for him.

Earlier this week, Kyle lost his wallet, which increased his anxiety and made it difficult to navigate through day-to-day activities.

Kyle’s special care worker decided to take him to the Salvation Army store to go thrift shopping. His mom says Kyle loves thrift stores because he’s able to look at various items.

It was there that they came across the good samaritan.

“Him just absolutely being enthralled with these two toys just really touched an amazing and wonderful lady. She asked how much they were and she bought them for him.” said Caroline.

A simple act of kindness that has now changed Kyle’s life around

“Since he got these two toys, he’s been a lot more at peace. It’s just really calmed him down, he’s walking around with a smile on his face again which is a little bit rare.” said Caroline.

The act even inspired him to use sign language to say thank you to mysterious woman. Caroline says Kyle only uses sign language for significant moments.

“If it’s something that really touched him, he signs it. When I found that out, I was like ‘wow, this just really made his day.'” said Caroline.

There’s no clue as to who the good samaritan is. Caroline says that if she were given the opportunity to say thank you, she’d break down crying and hug her instead.

“Just keep being genuine, keep being real, and just keep being you.” said Caroline.

Kyle still thinks of the woman, thanking her on his iPad.

“Thank you very much for the gift, it really made me feel better.” said Kyle.
