PRINCE GEORGE – It’s been a fun-filled summer so far, filled with outdoor markets, events, and new food trucks. One food truck has become ‘Legendary’ around town, as it’s not just for their food but also their community spirit.

Legendary John’s Spud Truck is a new addition to the food scene here in Prince George and a family-run operation.Natasha and Wayne Kitchen are co-owners of Legendary John’s and they have created a unique twist to your regular hot dog and fries.

Legendary John’s spuds isn’t just a made-up name, he is an actual farmer, and this is where the family sources all its potatoes from. According to Natasha and Wayne, if you’ve ever grown a potato here in Prince George or eaten a family or friend’s backyard spud, John and his tractor more than likely had a hand in it. John is 90-years-old and has been growing seed potatoes in this region for over eight decades.
