Vandals target campaign signs in Prince George
PRINCE GEORGE – It’s an issue that seems to plague all elections: vandals are targetting campaign signs. With only a few weeks left until the federal election, some local volunteers are busy re-placing and fixing downed campaign signs.
Cariboo-Prince George NDP candidate, Audrey McKinnon, says that vandalism is unfortunately expected.
“It is unfortunate – our donors’ contributed to those signs and our volunteer time has gone into putting them up, and back up,” said McKinnon.
Mckinnon’s campaign signs weren’t the only ones who have been hit, Conservative Candidate for Cariboo-Prince George, Todd Doherty, posted a video of the damage done to his signs as well.
