Entries to the event were by donation with all proceeds going toward the operating costs of the Kordyban Lodge. The Lodge provides accommodation for out-of-town residents receiving medical treatment at the Cancer Agency Centre for the North and helps overwhelmed patients get over the feelings of fear and anxiety while giving them courage and support.

Riley Windeler also helped put together the event and has been doing the Climb for a few years and says it’s an amazing cause to support.

The event featured local artists like Chris Goodwin and Ben Brown as well as multiple local food trucks to keep everyone entertained and fed while also raising money for the $30,000 goal.
