“We transtioned to self-guided events so that people are able to self-distance, not have to leave their groups. But we were able to have a homestead days event on the August long weekend. And we had our potato festival on the september long weekend. They were both great,” said Crizmanich.

However there were some events Huble could not do this year, including it’s spookiest one.

“Two of the big events that we’re missing this year was the kids carnival in July as well as our halloween event, which is usually very, very popular at the end of october, so unfortunately we will not have those two events,” said Crizmanich.

But there’s always next year, according to the program manager. The site is actively looking into what their programming will look like come 2022.

“We’re also seeing some things that we’ve tried out that are actually working quite well. So, we may just repurpose and redo some of the changes and integrate some of the things that did work this year and last year, with our previous year,” said Crizmanich.

There’s still some time to enjoy what the site has to offer. Sunday October 9th will be its final day of operation for the season from 10AM to 5PM.

Visitors can enjoy 10% all merchandise.
