Through COVID-19 and heatwaves; Huble Homestead has successful year
SUMMIT LAKE—It was another historic year for Huble Homestead. Considering the summer’s heatwaves and of course entering differents stages of reopening due to COVID-19, the historic site saw more than 4,500 visitors this year, which is more than half of it normally sees.
“We are up from last year, and we’re still down from 2019 numbers. But we’re hoping–fingers crossed, that we can sort’ve get back on track in 2022,” said Nicole Crizmanichm, Program Manager, Huble Homestead Historic Site.
Unlike last year, the site was able to operate with a full staff and bring the experience and events it normal has.
