Prince George resident taken to hospital after ground level unit fire

PRINCE GEORGE — A ground level unit on the 600-block of Dominion Street was found on fire Sunday (Oct. 10) morning.

Prince George Fire Rescue rescued the lone occupant before they were transferred to hospital for observation.

No injuries were reported to firefighters or other residents, but the structure damage is estimated at $100,000.

Prince George Fire Rescue says the cause of the fire is under investigation.
