Three PG organizations win Ted Rogers Community Grant

PRINCE GEORGE—Three organizations in Prince George are now recipients of the Ted Rogers Community Grants.

Carrier Sekani Family Services, Big Brothers and Sisters of Northern B.C. and the YMCA of Northern BC have won.

These three are among 70 in the province.

The grants are to help organizations that offer youth programs in education, skills training, job skills, mentorship and community leadership.

Big Brothers and Big Sisters has received $10,000.

“Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern BC is very honoured to receive a 2021-2022 Ted Rogers Community Grant to support our youth and give them the skills and confidence to tackle life after high school. These funds will be used to enhance our new programming for teens living in Prince George and prepare them to enter the workforce and or further their studies.” said Tim Bennett, Executive Director, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern BC
