Mackenzie man wins $1M playing Lotto Max

MACKENZIE — Mackenzie’s Eric West has one million reasons to be happy.

This after he won $1 million from the June 22, 2021 Lotto Max Draw. West purchased the ticket from the lottery ticket kiosk at Mackenzie Mall.

“I thought I won $1,000 so my mom said go to scan it at a retailer. I was so surprised that it was actually $1 million and not $1,000.”

He says he plans on buying his mother a new car with his winnings.
