2022 BC Summer Games starts recruitment for volunteers

LHEIDLI T’ENNEH/PRINCE GEORGE – the Prince George 2022 BC Summer Games is officially starting its recruitment of 3000 local volunteers for the July event.
To kick-off, the BC Summer Games host society will be at the Prince George Olympic celebration on February 26th, 2022 hosted by the City of Prince George. The community is encouraged to attend, celebrate sport in our community, and continue our legacy by signing up to volunteer for the BC Summer Games.
President, Renee McCloskey, says “We will be there to welcome home our own BC Games alumni. As we are coming together as sport lovers, it is a great opportunity to highlight these opportunities so we can grow our next generation of Olympians.”
The 32nd BC Summer Games will take place July 21-24, 2022. With 18 sports across the city, there are many opportunities to volunteer, from photography to driving. Volunteers must be 14 years of age or older and they must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and successfully complete a Police Information Check.
