Suspects in Prince George police pursuit and break-and-enters charged

PRINCE GEORGE — The BC Prosecution Service has released the names of the two suspects in yesterday’s (May 11) police pursuit and break-and-enters.

They say Mark Stephen Barg and Kirk Arthur Clark have been jointly charged with failing to stop for police and possession of stolen property valued at over $5,000. Barg is also charged with assault with a weapon.

The break-and-enters occurred yesterday morning to a business on the 700-block of 4th avenue and the 1700 block of Queensway. The pair rammed two police vehicles and were eventually arrested in the alleyway between Burden and Alward streets.

The next court appearance for both is on May 19 for a bail hearing in Prince George Provincial Court.
