Couple arrested after alleged assault of bar staff member

WILLIAMS LAKE—A man and woman are in custody after allegedly assaulting a staff member of a Williams Lake bar.

RCMP front line officers responded to a call just before 10:00 p.m., on August 5, 2022 on Oliver Street after receiving a report of bar patrons assaulting staff. The 39-year-old man and 38-year-old woman responsible for the alleged attack were arrested.

Several charges have been approved against both individuals.
