Missing person may be evading police

TERRACE — Back in October, Terrace RCMP launched a missing persons investigation in regards to Leon Sinclair.

Police in Terrace say that they have followed up on different leads and now believe that he may have been in the Terrace area as recently as November 18.

Sinclair may be using the aliases “Evan Sinclair” or “Evan Leon”.

Terrace RCMP also say that “he is believed to have been residing at an address in the New Remo area of Terrace at one point, and in Thornhill area at another time, while also believed to have frequented the Northern Motor Inn Restaurant.”

It is likely that Sinclair is actively evading police.

Sinclair is described as:

• Indigenous man
• 56 years old
• 5’9
• 181 lb
• Brown eyes
• Black hair
• Usually wears jeans, t-shirts and leather loafers
