Kordyban Lodge approaches a milestone

Prince George is home to BC Cancer’s Centre for the North, where cancer patients can receive treatment and care close to home. While it may be closer for many than travelling to the Okanagan or Lower Mainland, travelling and staying in Prince George can still be a financial burden for many. That’s where the Kordyban Lodge steps in! The lodge offers an affordable place for cancer patients and their partner to stay while receiving treatment in Prince George. This March the lodge will celebrate its 10th anniversary! We caught up with some of the staff and one of the guests at the lodge to learn why a facility like Kordyban Lodge is necessary and how it positively impacts a cancer patient’s journey.
