PRINCE GEORGE – Students at the Story Institute of Prince George have just past the halfway point in their first year of studies at the Northern Capital’s fledgling acting school. Since the school opened it’s doors in September 2022, there’s been an influx of excited Northerners coming back home to study, the latest step on their quest to the silver screen.
It’s been a busy semester for the close knit class, deep down in the bowels of the old BMO bank vault. Over the past 6 months, everyone in the class have produced their own short films, having full creative control and overseeing all aspects of production from start to finish.
The next big projects for the Story Institute crew, A live sketch comedy show currently in the works for a local venue, and the premiere of a series of 15 seconds horror films, which are set to make their debut at the upcoming Northern Fancon, on Friday, May 5th.
