CTA West swingman Drew Williams says yes to Timberwolves for 23-24
PRINCE GEORGE– The University of Northern British Columbia Men’s Basketball team has added a major dose of skill, dedication, and basketball IQ, officially announcing the commitment of West Kelowna product Drew Williams for the 2023-2024 Canada West season.
“It feels great to be a Timberwolf. I am super excited and looking forward to this upcoming fall. After my campus tour with Coach Jordan, I knew it was a place I could see myself at. The team culture and the chemistry only added to that.”
Standing six-foot-four with a sturdy, athletic frame, Williams can play as a shooting guard, small forward, and projects to be able to play the power forward at the university level as his game continues to mature.
The BC Summer Games gold medalist visited UNBC’s Prince George campus, where he had a chance to tour the facilities, familiarize himself with the Northern Sport Centre, train with the varsity roster, and learn from Timberwolves head coach Todd Jordan.
