Park projects set to start

PRINCE GEORGE – This summer, some park maintenance projects will require temporary closures in Prince George parks. The Heritage River Trail is currently under construction and will be closed through the summer for maintenance.

The closure includes 200m of trail north of the CN Rail bridge to replace the pedestrian bridge with a new one that allows for trail access for maintenance equipment and provides a safe pedestrian crossing.

Parks crews are also busy with winter trail clean-up to remove tree limbs and garbage. The work will take place over the next several weeks.
