City officials monitor high river flows

PRINCE GEORGE – The River Forecast Centre has issued a High Streamflow Advisory for several regions in British Columbia due to heavy rainfall and snowmelt.

Local officials closely monitor the situation and urge residents to exercise caution around waterways.

Emergency management personnel are on standby, and residents are advised to have emergency kits ready and stay informed about changing conditions.

The advisory is expected to remain in effect until further notice.
