Kodiaks earn first win after great effort against rival Kamloops Broncos

PRINCE GEORGE– The Prince George Kodiaks were back at Masich Place stadium looking for their first win as they squared off against the Kamloops Broncos. Defense and special teams were the story of this game as the Kodiaks are winless no more after a 25-11 win.

It officially puts them at 1-2 on the year and only a game back of a playoff spot. The special teams and defense combined for 18 points in this one capped off by a fake punt touchdown by Kayle Cowley. Meanwhile, the Kodiak’s defense shut down the Broncos holding them to three points by the end of the 1st half. A great performance to build on for this young team.

They now head to Vancouver Island to take on the 0-4 VI Raiders this Saturday.
