Those involved in deadly helicopter crash were on their way to conduct field survey work

PRINCE GEORGE — Canfor says those involved in a deadly helicopter crash outside Prince George were hired contractors on their way to conduct field survey work for the company.
Two people died and four were injured in the crash near Purden Lake yesterday.
Michelle Ward, Canfor’s vice-president of corporate communications, says the company is “deeply saddened” by the crash.
Investigators with the Transportation Safety Board were scheduled to arrive at the scene of the crash Wednesday.
