If you haven’t yet witnessed the wonders within its walls, or maybe it’s been a while, it’s time to check out the marvels that await you.

PGPL boasts an extensive and diverse collection that caters to all ages and interests. From the latest bestsellers, graphic novels, Manga, and easy readers, to DVDs, video games, books on CD, and magazines, the library has it all.  But PGPL’s collections expand beyond the walls of the library, offering an array of online resources like eBooks, audiobooks, music, movies, magazines, and a large selection of online resources and courses to support lifelong learning and enjoyment. Your free library card is the key to unlocking this treasure trove, granting you access to a world of knowledge and entertainment at your fingertips.

One of the standout features of PGPL is its commitment to lifelong learning. The library provides safe and welcoming spaces for community members to gather together to connect and share. Access free programming and events for all ages, abilities, and interests. There is a rich variety of recurring programs like Baby time, Story time, Lego Time, Gaming Hour, Teen Alliance, Gentle Tai Chi, Ukulele Jam, Queer Games Nights, English Conversation Group, It’s Easy Being Green, SMART Recovery Family and Friends, and Chess Club. There are also seasonal and unique programs like Author Talks, special workshops, and Non-Instructional Day events. there is never a shortage of interesting, educational, and fun things to do at the library!

PGPL has updated its facilities in the past few years, adding a beautiful and bright new entrance at the Bob Harkins Branch, downtown, as well as new furniture and play structures. It is easy to see when visiting the branches that creating safe, attractive, inclusive library spaces that the community can take pride in is one of their top priorities. With free computer access and unlimited wifi, free printing up to 30 pages per day, and lots of comfortable spaces, PGPL truly is one of the last remaining public places people can go without an expectation of spending money.
