PRINCE GEORGE — Having and maintaining a junior hockey career is a hard thing to do. Prince George Spruce King’s Amran Bhabra has done both of those things as the Spruce Kings defenseman will suit up for his 200th career game in the BCHL on Friday night.

The organisation first brought in Bhabra as a 16-year-old in the 2019-20 Regular Season. Since then he’s been a consistent presence on the Spruce Kings blue line. With coaches and staff knowing he’ll be ready to play every single night

This is no small accomplishment for the 20-year-old either. Bhabra will be the 4th Spruce King to reach 200 career games played in the BCHL and needs just ten more games to finish 2nd in Spruce Kings franchise history. While if he plays every single game the rest of the year he’ll be slotted into the top 150 all-time in BCHL history for games played.

Bhabra has spent five years with the Spruce Kings organization and the city of Prince George both being very close to his heart and is proud to call it his home.

You can watch Amron reach the 200-game mark this Friday when the Spruce Kings take on the Cranbrook Bucks at Kopar Memorial Arena.
