PRINCE GEORGE — A big three goal third period propelled the Prince George Spruce Kings to a 4-2 win over the visiting Cranbrook Bucks on Saturday night.

It was Cranbrook that opened the scoring, drawing first blood just over halfway through the opening frame with Jacob Fletcher beating Charlie Zolin.

The Bucks would expand upon their lead in the middle stanza with Bryce Sookro scoring before the Spruce Kings finally found their footing in the contest. From there it would be four unanswered goals for PG, starting with Skogen Schrott’s 11th of the season less than a minute later.

In the third, the Spruce Kings would get markers from Scott Cousins, Lucas Veilleux and Owen Goodbrand.
