“While we are thrilled to have won the round this year, the real focus of the game is raising money for two great charities: Cops for Cancer Tour de North and the Prince George Firefighters Charitable Society. We are all very glad to be able to give back to the communities we serve in such a fun and positive way, while engaging in a little friendly competition at the same time. In total, $6000 was raised and will be divided between the two charities,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper, Media Relations Officer for the Prince George RCMP.

Keeping with last years tradition, the Prince George Fire Chief donned the winning jersey and made a donation of his own toward the Cops for Cancer Tour de North.

The RCMP extends their thanks to all the community sponsors who made the event possible: Prince George Spruce Kings, P.G. Portable Toilets, Pattison Media, Flatline Irrigation, Pacific Western Brewing and Mr. Mike’s.
