Pedestrian hospitalized after morning collision on 5th Avenue

PRINCE GEORGE – At approximately 11 a.m. Wednesday morning, a vehicle hit a person and sent them to the hospital.

Witnesses at the scene reported that a pedestrian was struck by an eastbound vehicle on 5th Avenue, near the intersection of 5th and Ahbau Street.

Emergency crews shut down eastbound traffic on 5th Avenue while medical personnel tended to the injured person. There is no further information on the severity of the injuries sustained.
