UNBC Athletes embrace Black History Month with special T-Shirts

PRINCE GEORGE — As you may know, February is Black History Month. UNBC has embraced this releasing Black Heritage t-shirts, with names of UNBC Athletes, including Adaiah Tupas-Singh and Nyemuon Padhal. Two members of the UNBC women’s Basketball team who are proud to be one of 13 athletes on the shirts.

Friday is another special part of the celebrations as the NSC will be celebrating black culture throughout the basketball games when the Timberwolves take on the Saskatchewan Huskies. With special snacks, and entertainment.

The Black Heritage t-shirts are on sale at the athletics office with proceeds going to the Afro-Caribbean Student Association at UNBC.
