Timberwolves basketball teams wrap up regular season with losses to Saskatchewan

PRINCE GEORGE — The UNBC Timberwolves men’s basketball team wrapped up its regular season with a tough loss at home to the Saskatchewan Huskies Saturday (Feb. 10).

Saskatchewan got 21 points from Easton Thimm in a 91-86 victory over the T-Wolves (9-11).

The graduating Spencer Ledoux paced UNBC with 19 points while Justin Sunga notched 10 assists.

The T-Wolves now move on to the Canada West playoffs, scheduled for February 21-25 in Manitoba.

On the women’s side, UNBC (4-16) got 11 points from Viktoriia Filatova but fell 95-32 to the Huskies.
