PRINCE GEORGE – “I’m winging it, you know, winging it when you buy a little gift bag of chocolates.”

That was the general sentiment of some customers at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, where it was a revolving door on the day before Valentine’s Day. The official day of romance.

“It is our number one day of the year,” explains the owner of the store, Trent Derrick. “It’s like doing Christmas all crammed into two or three days. People don’t always plan ahead for Valentine’s Day. It’s always, oh, it’s Valentine’s!”

Traditionally, men would be focused on their sweethearts.

“But it’s actually a pretty big split. And on Valentine’s Day, it is more generally the men on Valentine’s Day that are coming in and on the rush. So but but before that, it’s a pretty big split.”

So whether its chocolates or flowers on anything in between, just make sure to tell your loved ones that are indeed, your loved ones.
