VALEMOUNT — A tragic fire claimed two lives in Valemount Friday morning (March 15).
RCMP responded to the structure fire at a campsite on Cedarside Road just after 6 a.m., along with eight members of the Valemount & District Fire Department.
“Sadly, two persons were found deceased inside. The identity of those individuals are still to be fully determined,” says Cpl. Alex Berube. “Cause of the fire remains under investigation and the BC Coroners Service is also investigating.”
No other information has been released.
