Online safety and sextortion townhall coming to Vanier Hall

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP, in partnership with School District 57, will be hosting a townhall style meeting for parents and caregivers from 6 till 8 p.m. on September 16 to discuss the topics of online safety and sextortion.

It will provide parents a chance to learn from experts in the field about how to best safeguard our children. The townhall will take place at Vanier Hall and admission is free.

“We are excited to be able to bring this style of information session to our community, as it is an area where many parents have expressed the need for more specific information on how to best to keep their kids safe when accessing the internet,” says Prince George RCMP Cpl. Jennifer Cooper.
