Warmer weather leads to multiple traffic accidents

PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP are reminding drivers that with warmer weather comes icy roads.

Police say it’s already resulted in around a half dozen accidents between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Friday – more than when it was snowing earlier this week.

Tips including slowing down, increasing the following distance between you and the vehicle in front of you and accelerating and breaking slowly.
