Defenseman from Burnaby commits to Spruce Kings

PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Spruce Kings have announced the commitment of 2008-born defenseman Nolan Blankstein for next season.

Blankstein hails from Burnaby and has played the last five seasons in the Shawnigan Lake School Program of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League. In two seasons with the U18 Prep team, he scored 14 goals and added 37 assists in 64 games.

“Nolan is a highly skilled player with great size. He’s a great addition to our group,” says Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes.
