Chiefs edge Spruce Kings, 3-2

CHILLIWACK — The Chilliwack Chiefs beat the Prince George Spruce Kings 3-2 Tuesday night in second round BCHL playoff hockey action.

With the win, Prince George now leads the series, 2-1.

The game was scoreless after the first period with the Chiefs taking a 2-0 lead in the second period from goals by Boris Borin and Adam Boatter. Lucas Busch (4) scored for Prince George to make the score 2-1 after two periods.

In the third, A.J. Schaaf scored for Chilliwack to make it 3-1 before Cooper Faughan (4)finished the scoring to make it 3-2.
