Spruce Kings fall to Clippers in overtime

PRINCE GEORGE — The Nanaimo Clippers scored an overtime goal to secure a 3-2 victory over the Prince George Spruce Kings in game two of their BCHL playoff series.

The Spruce Kings Earned a pair of goals, followed by one from the Clippers in the second period after a scoreless first frame.

The Clippers tied up the scoreboard in the third period to force the game into overtime.

Forward Miller Kay earned a goal for the Clippers 6:59 into overtime, securing a 2-0 series lead for the team.
