Rogers expands 5G service along Pine Pass
PINE PASS — Good news for those travelling Pine Pass.
Rogers has expanded 5G service along Highway 97 between Pine Pass and Chetwynd , adding nearly 70 kilometres of new coverage.
Rogers says the work “closes long-standing cellular dead zones, giving drivers, residents, resource workers and tourists reliable access to emergency services, road updates and navigation – especially during winter storms, wildfires and breakdowns.”
The service was delivered in partnership with the Province of British Columbia and Northern Development.
