PRINCE GEORGE — The Prince George Cougars have released their 2026 pre-season schedule, featuring four exhibition games ahead of the upcoming Western Hockey League (WHL) campaign.
The schedule includes a historic first for the franchise, as the Cougars will travel to Tumbler Ridge, B.C., to face the Edmonton Oil Kings in a two-game set. The exhibition matchups, set for September 4 and September 6 at Tumbler Ridge Arena, mark the first time the Cougars will play pre-season games in the community.
Prince George will then wrap up its exhibition slate the following weekend with a home-and-home series against the Kamloops Blazers. The teams will meet on September 12 at the West Fraser Centre in Quesnel before concluding pre-season play on September 13 at the Sandman Centre in Kamloops.
