Don’t Get Burned This Halloween

PRINCE GEORGE — Halloween is one of the three nights in the year where fireworks can be legally used without a permit, and those planning to use them are being reminded of how to use them safely.

You must be 18 to purchase fireworks and they may only be used on private property, that is clear of structures and other flammable objects.

Only use fireworks on gravel or sand, and if you don’t have access to that, filling a wheelbarrow with sand or gravel will work.
