PRINCE GEORGE- It has turned into a neighbourhood attraction. People from all over town drive to the Coletti’s house on Riverview Road to see what they have in store each October. For weeks, the family lays out hundreds of ghosts, skeletons, and pumpkins in elaborate scenes in their front yard. It’s been a tradition in the family for about 20 years. “You know, it’s something you think about forever… my son got into it some years back and he’s quite inventive and he’s been the one putting the ideas together but when we start this we don’t even really have a plan,” said Doug Coletti, “we’ve done so many different things it’s an ongoing process.”

In fact, it’s such a big project that son, Spencer, moved back to his parent’s house to help put it together this month. He says the best part is seeing it all come together on Halloween night. “You have a ton of kids, it’s noticeable how many more kids come here than every other house, we get up to 400 kids in a night, and there’s so much grinning… happy kids just having a blast.”

Tomorrow, the ghosts and ghouls will come down and the Coletti’s will begin work on their Christmas display.
