PRINCE GEORGE – Students at the College of New Caledonia were treated to a break today, with a Stressbusters event at the Prince George campus.
Cake and ice cream were served along with some tips on how to manage stress, especially around the busy exam time. As the second semester of the school begins to wrap up, stress levels tend to rise with the end of the year.
The Stressbusters event is hoped to be a fun time where students can relieve some tension and learn coping skills.
CNC Wellness Coach Dana Hansen says learning how to deal with stress is a good tool for anyone, and it’s important for students to make sure they are feeling ok so they don’t get too overwhelmed with exams and other things going on in their lives.
