Teaching Kids Physics For Easter

PRINCE GEORGE – Adding some science into Easter Sunday, The Exploration Place held an egg dropping competition.

“The Easter egg drop teaches kids about physics, rocket science, because as we go to other planets we are going to have to be able to send people down to the surface intact. This is just a learning experience for them to learn engineering and physics,” says Christian Buzzi, Lead Interpreter at The Exploration Place.

Three-year-old Souliman Andrews-Cisse put on his engineering hat today and protected his egg with straws and tape.

Kids of all ages engineered their own egg safety devices and dropped them from the upper gallery. Some eggs made it safely it to the ground, while others smashed into pieces.
