Tenant Arrives Home To House Fire

PRINCE GEORGE –  No one was hurt after a house fire at the 1700 block of 11th Ave Saturday afternoon.

A tenant arrived home to find smoke inside the two-story residence. He ran to a neighbour’s house and called 9-1-1. 

Fire crews arrived around 4:47 pm and tried to put out the flames from the inside. Due to extreme temperatures, they had to retreat and fight it from the outside. 

Fire crews believe the blaze may have begun in the chimney.
