Police Are Looking For More Information In Historical Homicide

PRINCE GEORGE – Prince George RCMP need your help with a homicide investigation, now more than ten years old. 

On March 26th, 2007, the body of 44-year-old Shawn Halikowski was found near Hofferkamp Road, just off of Highway 97. Police don’t believe Halikowski, who hadn’t been seen since March 11th, passed away where he was found.  Instead, they believe he was taken there after he was killed.  

Officers believe he spent time with several people on March 11th, and believe that one or more of these people may have information about his death.
