Watermain Work In Hart

PRINCE GEORGE – Hart residents should not be alarmed if they experience cloudy looking water from their taps over the next few weeks.

City crews will begin flushing watermains on Wednesday to remove sediment and say the water will be safe to drink. It’ll happen in the area south of Austin Road near Foothills Boulevard and Kelly Road/Highland Drive.

Residents are asked to avoid doing laundry from 8:30 am to 3 pm so that their laundry doesn’t get discoloured.

Crews also say a limited amount of water may be seen on roads and in ditches while maintenance occurs.
