Northern Clinical Simulation Program Gets Big Donation

PRINCE GEORGE- The Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation has received a 50 thousand dollar donation from the RBC Foundation to be directed to the Northern Clinical Simulation Centre at UHNBC to make upgrades and purchase new equipment, specifically pediatric patient simulators. The realistic robots give medical staff and students invaluable experience and allow them to practice in a safe environment. The simulation program has a clinic in Prince George, as well as a mobile clinic that travels throughout northern BC.
