PRINCE GEORGE – Prince George Conservation Officer Service is looking for information after a grizzly bear was found with all four of its paws removed. The COs found the dead bear on the side of highway 97 north of Bear Lake. According to the COs, it’s unlawful to possess any part of a grizzly bear unless you are of First Nations descent. Conservation Officer Service believes there is animal parts trafficking in the area in which the animal was found. Anyone with information is asked to call the RAPP line at 1-877-952-7277.
