Province Phases Out BC HOME Partnership Program

VICTORIA – Due to low participation, the BC Home Owner Mortgage and Equity Partnership program will come to an end on March 31st.

Current program recipients will not be affected and applications received by the end of the month will be considered for approval.

Within BC Housing, the Province will be creating a new HousingHub as the BC HOME program phases out. The mandate for the HousingHub will be to find new partnerships in order to build affordable housing for people. It will also develop new ways to allow prospective homeowners to buy homes and build equity.
