Midget-aged baseball team crowned champs in Mission

Two words for the PG Surg Med Knights this weekend: Mission Accomplished.

The team went a perfect 6-0 down in Mission during the Canada Day Classic, outscoring their opponents 59-17 on route to a gold medal.

Kolby Lukinchuk pitched a complete game and was named MVP in the 4-2 finals win over the Tri-City Thunder.

The win gives the Knights their first tournament win of the season after finishing second in Edmonton in the beginning of June.
