O’Rourke out, Lamb to hire new associate coach

Along with Thursdays decision, the Cougars also announced that Associate Coach Steve O’Rourke has not renewed his contract with the team.

The decision enables Lamb to bring in his own Associate Coach, who he says will co-coach with him, but focus largely on the defense. He’ll also help lighten the load, while Lamb handles his duties as General Manager.

The team received numerous applications for the head coaching job and he says many of those applicants are lining up for the secondary opportunity.
