Jobless Numbers Start To Climb

Jobless numbers are on the rise

PRINCE GEORGE–Job losses across the country saw an across- the -board increase in the unemployment rate last month. The numbers out of Stats Can show the national jobless rate rose from 5.5 per cent in June to 5.7 per cent last month, as the economy lost 24-thousand, 200 jobs. BC’s jobless rate edged up from 4.4 to 4.5 percent ,while the jobless rate in Prince George, moved from 4.2 to 4.3 percent .
